Biography
2011-12 (Junior Season): Second team all-MIAA…team leader in minutes played at 32.4 per game while also first in scoring 14.2 and first in assists with 145…the 145 assists were the third best single-season total in school history and she will enter her senior year seventh all-time in assists with 261…scored over 20 points on six occasions with a high of 24 against Lincoln, Southwest Baptist and Fort Hays State…was in double-figures 20 times and had a triple-double with 14, points, 10, rebounds and 10 assists against Pittsburg State on Jan. 25…named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll
2010-2011 (Sophomore Season): Started 24 of 27 games played, scoring 8.4 points and adding 4.1 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game ... shot 39.8% from the floor ... grabbed 32 offensive rebounds from the 2-guard slot and had an assist-to-turnover ratio of 1.2-to-1 ... led team in steals with 35 ... put up 12 double-figure games, highlighted by a 22-point outing at Central Missouri on Jan. 19 ... helped spearhead a huge rally in 2nd half to force OT, scoring 12 points, including a jumper at the buzzer to tie the game, then scored six straight in OT to help 'Dogs take the lead for good ... recorded a season-high ten rebounds on Dec. 11 against Washburn ... named to the MIAA's Academic Honor Roll.
2009-2010 (Freshman Season): Played in all 27 games as a true freshman … averaged 6.5 points, 3.2 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game as the team’s fourth-best scorer … started every game from Jan. 6 through the end of the season except one … had her first collegiate double-double and recorded season-highs both in points (17) and rebounds (10) against Northwest Missouri (Feb. 17) … was an 81% free throw shooter and was named to the MIAA’s Academic Honor Roll.
High School: McHenry averaged 16 points, five assists and three steals per game at Fraser High School. She was ranked the 17th- and 25th-best player in the state by two prominent Michigan basketball ranking entities. An ESPN all-greater Detroit second-team pick, McHenry played in the Michigan Basketball Coaches’ all-star game after receiving first-team all-Metro East, first-team all-county and first-team all-conference accolades. She was also a Detroit Free Press all-state pick and a Detroit News all-state Honorable Mention player.
