Daniels returns to Truman after spending the last five years as the assistant high school basketball and softball coach at her alma mater, Hollister High School (Mo.), where she also taught high school biology. There, the Ridgedale, Mo. native helped to improve on Hollister’s win totals (both varsity and junior varsity) in each of her five seasons on the staff.

Prior to her five-year stint with the Tigers, Daniels was a three-time all-conference performer for the Bulldogs from 2008-12 including Second-Team All-MIAA in 2010, third team in 2011 and honorable mention in 2012. The 5-9 sharpshooter was also named CoSIDA Academic All-District in 2011 to go with Academic All-MIAA nods in both 2010 and 2011. In the Purple and White's career record book, the former guard is fifth in three-point attempts (417), sixth in field goal attempts (1,170), sixth in games started (92), seventh in three-pointers made (145), seventh in field goals made (465), and ninth in points (1,213).
Daniels earned her bachelor’s degree in exercise science from Truman and is currently completing her master’s degree in leadership with a concentration in exercise science, also at Truman. As a coach, Daniels will serve as the conditioning/lifting coordinator and will work primarily with the guards, while assisting with practice, game planning, scouting, and travel coordination.
As mentioned above, Daniels spent the past four seasons as the girls' assistant basketball and softball coach for Hollister High School in Hollister, Mo.. While at Hollister, Daniels focused on guard development, team conditioning, supervised the team managers, and implemented a hustle chart and statistical system into practices and games.
