Coach Rear begins her first year as an assistant coach here at Truman. The Belleville, Wisconsin native graduated from Ashford University (’15) with two degrees. One of her degrees is in Sports and Recreation Management and the other in Business Administration. She also earned her Coaching Endorsement.
Rear ended her four year playing career for the Saints as one of the best ever. She is in the top ten for over fifteen statistical categories including being number one in 3 pointers made (246) and 4th all-time in scoring (1166). In her last two years as a player, Ashford University reached unprecedented heights. They won the A.I.I. Conference twice, advanced to the NAIA National Tournament twice, and won the University’s first game at the National Tournament.
Rear has coached for the AAU Program, the Wisconsin Swing, as well has having worked several camps. Some of the camps she has worked include: Ashford University Little Dribblers Camp, Belleville Wildcats Youth Camps, Seneca Blue: The Blueprint Training Camps, and the Truman State University Summer Camps.
She is currently pursuing her Masters of Science in Management and Leadership from Western Governors University. She resides in Kirksville.
