Remy Davenport

After her final game as a player in March of 2018, Davenport has joined head coach Amy Eagan's staff as a graduate assistant beginning with the 2018-19 season. The Blue Springs, Mo. native will assist with player development, recruiting, scouting, game planning, academic coordination, and fundraising.

As a senior for the Bulldogs, Davenport played in all 26 of the team's games with 18 of those appearances coming as a starter. Along the way, the sharp-shooting guard led the team in three-pointers attempted (109) and made (32), was second in free throw percentage (83.3 percent), third in total rebounds (89), third in rebounds per game (3.4), second in total steals (20), and second in blocked shots (15), all while maintaining a 2-to-1 assist-to-turnover ratio (31-15).

Prior to Kirksville, Davenport played three seasons at the University of Nebraska Omaha, a member of The Summit League of Division I. During her time with the Mavericks, she was in the squad's top three in scoring each year, while leading the way in three-pointers made and attempted every season. Davenport was also named The Summit League Player of the Week in December of her sophomore year. The Blue Springs South product still owns the UNO record for most triples made in a game with 10, ranks second in career treys with 194 and is top five in three-pointers converted in a single season with 67. Davenport finished her career just shy of 1,000 points with 982, 226 three-pointers made, 359 rebounds, starts in 96 of 115 games, and played in every game of her career.

Academically, she earned her BSBA in marketing and minor in management from UNO in only three years. Davenport just started her masters in leadership with a specialization in coaching at Truman. She will graduate with her masters in May of 2019 and then hopes to continue coaching at the collegiate level. As an undergrad, Remy was on The Summit League Academic Honor Roll all three years followed by an Academic All-GLVC nod as a senior. She was also named a GLVC Brother James Gaffney Distinguished Scholar for achieving a 4.0 GPA in 2017-18.

While at Blue Springs South High School, Davenport played basketball and tennis. Remy still holds multiple three-pointer records including three-pointers made in a game (6), season (61) and career (183/tied with sister, Tiffany).

Remy is the daughter of Vince and Amy while her younger sister, Tiffany, is playing for Truman.
