Biography

High School: Being No. 1 pitcher and first baseman for Kirkwood High School the last two seasons, Pearson excelled on the mound and at the plate. He threw 46.1 innings with 41 strikeouts, good for a 3.15 ERA. Pearson hit .356 with five home runs, six doubles, and 26 runs batted in. He has started varsity since his freshman season, and plays for Adidas Athletics for club ball. Jack volunteered for Kirkwood baseball camps, was a volunteer coach for low-income baseball teams with Adidas Academy, volunteer softball manager, volunteer bible school counselor at Parkway United Church of Christ, counselor for Lydia Fox Memorial, helped design and sell sweatshirts to raise teen suicide awareness, and started "Strait Lines Fair Prices" lawn mowing/snow removal.
