Biography
2014 (Sophomore Season) Did not run during the cross country season but did compete in both Indoor and Outdoor Track campaigns…earned Academic all-GLVC.
2013 (Redshirt Freshman Season) Ran in all six races with best overall finish being sixth in the Lindenwood (Mo.) Dual to open the season…fastest kilometer pace was 3:59/k at the GLVC Championships in which Westen placed 57th overall and sixth on the team…competed in the NCAA Regional and finished 139th…earned Academic all-GLVC. Â
2012 (Freshman Season) Named to the MIAA Academic Honor Roll.
High School: A three-year starter and letterwinner on the cross country team…earned all-conference honors her senior year with a third place finish…won the Bomber Booster Award for Most Points during her sophomore season and the Bomber Booster Award for Most Improved as a senior…also participated in Track and Basketball…member of the National Honor Society, a Peoria Journal Star scholar athlete of the week and was the school’s senior of the month for April.
