Former Bulldog standout Jonny Brown returns to the sidelines for his second season as an assistant with the Truman men's program, while also assuming responsibilities with the women's program beginning in Fall 2013.
During his first season as an assistant with the men's squad, Brown helped in areas of recruiting, practice planning, and skill development, while guiding the Bulldogs to a 10-6-1 record and a berth in the MIAA tournament semifinals.
As a player from 2008-2011, the Perth, Scotland-native saw action in 68 matches, handing out 23 assists to rank seventh all-time on the program career chart. He added eight goals, including three each both as a sophomore and as a senior. Brown scored three game-winning goals and tallied 39 career points.
He was named first-team Daktronics all-region following his sophomore season and to the second-team following his senior campaign.
