Making the transition to the sideline after a stellar four-year career in the purple and white is Suzanne Pelley, who joins head coach Mike Cannon's staff for the 2014 season. Pelley wrapped up her Bulldog career following the 2013 season, having competed in 74 contests as one of the program's most versatile players in recent history.
Pelley, a native of Weldon Spring, Mo., was a four-time all-conference award recipient, earning a second-team all-conference nod as a midfielder as a freshman, a first-team all-conference award as a defender during her sophomore season, and both honorable mention and third-team leagueaccolades out of the defensive midfield in her final two seasons. She followed up her fourth all-conference selection in as many years with a third-team selection on the NSCAA all-Midwest region team after starting all 21 matches as the team's left back in 2013. She scored twice and added a pair of assists, while contributing defensively to the team's 0.55 goals-against average.
For her career, Pelley scored four goals and added three assists in 74 matches. Three of her four goals were eventual game-winners, and she was credited with taking 132 shots.
