Two junior Truman Wrestlers will be making the trip to nationals as Ryan Maus and Colton Schmitz will represent the Bulldogs in Birmingham. This will be Maus' third trip to the national meet and he will compete in the 149-pound weight class where he finished second in the NCAA Super Regional. Maus will face Kutztown (Pa.) University's Mitch Voelker in the opening round. Maus is 22-10 on the season while Voekler is 15-11.

The top three placers in the 149-pound bracket are back this season led by defending national champion Raufeon Stots of Nebraska-Kearney.

Schmitz will be making his first trip to nationals and will square off against junior Daniel Kelly of Adams (Colo.) State University. Schmitz is 30-10 on the season after spending most of the year wrestling at 165 before dipping down to 157. Kelly is 23-7 on the year.

The 157-pound bracket appears wide open with just two of the top eight placers from last year's meet returning. Dillon Bera of Wisconsin-Parkside is the highest finisher in the bracket after his third place performance last season.
