KIRKSVILLE, Mo. - - The Truman men's soccer team gave up two goals in a five-minute stretch during Sunday afternoon's first half against Indianapolis, and the Greyhounds made it hold to hand the Bulldogs a 2-0 setback at the Bulldog Soccer Park.

Truman out-shot UIndy 18-12 for the match and took five corner kicks to UIndy's three; however, an Ngwese Ebangwese penalty kick in the 15^th minute came before a Casey Castle goal in the 20^th minute for the game's only scoring.

The Bulldogs had multiple great looks to both jump ahead early and make a late run, but Truman (5-6-1, 4-5-1 GLVC) hit both a post and a crossbar in the opening half before outshooting the 'Hounds (6-4-2, 6-3-1 GLVC) 8-3 in the second half.

Tony Ludecke led all Bulldogs with three shots, while Drew Garrone made two saves in net. Those two, along with Tony Lantz, Ian Abundis, Austin Hayden, Chris Mansfield, Nick Franta, Brandon Visonnavong, John Fernandez, and Dan Jack were all honored pre-match on the team's Senior Day.

Truman will hit the road for a trek to the GLVC's northern-most schools next weekend, beginning with a 1:15 p.m. (CT) tilt at Wisconsin-Parkside on Friday, Oct. 17.
