KENOSHA, Wis. – Stephanie Williams tallied her second goal of the season and the #10 Truman Women's Soccer team battled the University of Wisconsin-Parkside to a 1-1 draw in a road match on Friday afternoon.

The Rangers (6-5-2, 6-4-1 GLVC) scored just the third goal in 13 games against Truman in the 15th minute to go up 1-0. Lauren Bialas scored her third of the season off a pass by Vianey Hernandez to stop the Bulldogs second five-game shutout streak.

Williams' answered in the 35th minute as she dribbled through a pair of defenders then beat keeper Adrianna Bratel from 15 yards out for the equalizer. It was Williams' eighth career goal and second of the year.

Truman turned up the pressure in the second half as they outshot the Rangers 8-0 and had three corners kicks but time expired in regulation without another goal.

In the extra periods, UWP had one shot by Bialas that Katie Mattingly had to stop in the first OT and in the second the Bulldogs put a pair of shots toward the net with a header wide by Delaney Kooken and Allison Lockett's shot was saved by Bratel.

The Bulldogs see their 11-game winning streak snapped with the draw but still remain in sole possession of first place in the Great Lakes Valley Conference with a 10-0-1 record. Rockhurst and Bellarmine are tied for second with 8-1-2 marks and each with head-to-head losses against Truman.

Truman will face Lewis (Ill.) University on Sunday in Romeoville at 2:30 p.m.
