KENOSHA, Wis. - After dropping three matches in a row, the Truman State University volleyball team was in desperate need of a win and played like it on Friday night at Wisconsin-Parkside. The Bulldogs lost the first set 22-25 before winning the next three with scores of 26-24, 25-18 and 25-15.
Truman improved to 7-10 overall and 3-5 in Great Lakes Valley Conference play while Wisconsin-Parkside fell to 7-10 on the season, including 5-4 in league action.
Next up, the Purple and White will face their stiffest test so far this season when they travel to third-ranked Lewis on Saturday with first serve set for 3 p.m.
