KIRKSVILLE, Mo. – Déjà vu as the Truman Women's Basketball team opens up the second conference week of 2018 by playing Missouri S&T on a Thursday night. What isn't the same about this week's game is the location has shifted to Rolla, Missouri and the Gale Bullman Multipurpose Building but it will also be the start of three games in five days with the addition of a Monday game with Drury.

Sandwiched in between is a road tilt with Rockhurst University on Saturday afternoon.

The Bulldogs enter the rematch with S&T with an 8-3 record and suffered their first Great Lakes Valley Conference loss in four games at the hands of Lewis by a 73-58 score.
The Lady Miners picked up their first league win at home on Saturday as they pounded Wisconsin-Parkside 79-63.

Truman struggled shooting against Lewis as the team was 38% overall from the field and made only five of 25 three-point attempts (20%). Adding insult to injury, the free throw shooting was a season-low 43.8% as Truman made seven of 16 attempts. Freshman Katie Jaseckas led Truman with 16 points on 7-of-9 shooting and played a season-high 27 minutes. Jaseckas was also the leader on the glass with seven, two offensive.

S&T bounced back after the 27-point loss to Truman by holding the Rangers to some cold shooting as well. UW-Parkside were 4-of-27 from three while the Lady Miners shot nearly 50% for the game behind 25-points from Janie Arand. The senior guard was 8-of-11 from the field with three of five from long range in 36 minutes of action.

Last Thursday, Jaseckas recorded her third double-double of the season with 10 points and 11 rebounds in the 77-50 win over Missouri S&T. Arand paced the Lady Miners with 16 points while Rachel Edmundson led Truman with 16 as well.

Truman used a 20-2 run late in the first quarter and early in the second quarter to put the game away. S&T only got as close as 15 points early in the third quarter before Truman turned on the jets again and led by as many as 32 points in the fourth quarter en route to their fifth straight win over Missouri S&T.

Series History with S&T:
