Complete Results

GREENSBORO, N.C. - After a successful four-day stay at the NCAA Division II Swimming and Diving Championships, the Truman State University men's and women's swimming teams wrapped up action on Saturday afternoon inside the Greensboro Aquatic Center. The men finished in 22nd place out of 35 teams with 42 points while the women were 25th out of 45 teams with 39 points.

For the men, Sam Heveroh (pictured) was the team's lone competitor, but boy did he have a good day for his one event. Heveroh competed in the 100 free and entering Saturday, he held the school record in that event with a time of 44.67. He broke that mark, not once, but twice with 44.39 in the prelims (16th place) before a time of 44.52 (13th place) in the finals.

Switching over to the women, Jamie Fitzpatrick and Nikki Sisson both participated in the 100 free prelims with times of 51.11 (23rd place) and 51.16 (25th place), respectively. Last, but not least, the GLVC Freshman of the Year, Natalie Galluzzo, finished in 10th for the 200 breast with a time of 2:16.45.
