KIRKSVILLE, Mo. – The first of 20 conference games is on tap for the Truman Women's Basketball team as the Bulldogs host regional rival Quincy University on Tuesday night at 5:30 p.m.

The Bulldogs (4-2) split their weekend at the Drury Thanksgiving Classic with a 67-52 win over Northern Michigan on Friday followed by a 70-63 loss to Central Missouri on Saturday. Quincy (2-4) has been idle for a week with their last outing being a 71-48 non-conference game against new GLVC member Lindenwood last Tuesday night at home.

The Bulldogs were 13-5 in league games last season while the Hawks were 3-15. Truman is 68-40 in conference games since joining the league in 2013 and 39-15 in conference home games. Last year, the Bulldogs were 7-2 on league games played in Pershing Arena.

This will be the first of two meetings between the Bulldogs and Hawks this season with the second date coming on the Martin Luther King Jr. Holiday on January 20 in QU's Pepsi Arena.

The Bulldogs are averaging 73.2 points per game this season while allowing 70.8. They are shooting 45.9% overall with 28.5% from three and 64% from the line.

Sloane Totta has assumed the lead in scoring for the Bulldogs after being the leading scorer for the team in the last four. Totta scored 13 against Northern Michigan on Friday and 16 against Central Missouri on Saturday. For the season, Totta is averaging 12.3 points and dishing out six assists per game. This will be her 92nd straight start and her 265 career assists have taken over 10th place on the Bulldog all-time rankings.

Katey Klucking is averaging a dozen points and is the leader in three-pointers with 13 this season in six starts. Katie Jaseckas is third in scoring at 10.5 and shooting 52% from the season.

History with Quincy:
While the schools is separated by just one game in the all-time series with Truman having a 27-26 edge, the Bulldogs have won five straight and 11 of the last 15 games. A victory over the Hawks would give Truman their longest winning streak over the Hawks since five straight from 1973-1982.

Last year, Truman won by double-digits in both meetings. The Bulldogs won 65-46 in Pershing Arena on February 9 then won 79-56 on February 23 in Quincy.

Up Next:
Only two games dot the December schedule for the Bulldogs this year. This game against Quincy followed by a December 18th trip to the University of Sioux Falls. The Cougars are 7-0 and will play four conference games in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference prior to Truman's visit. It will be the first ever meeting between the two schools.
