EVANSVILLE, Ind. – The Truman Women's Basketball team christened Southern Indiana's brand new arena by handing the Screaming Eagles their largest home loss of the season. A 26-0 run to start the second quarter led to an 89-59 blitz over USI as Truman improves to 12-4 overall and 8-1 in the Great Lakes Valley Conference.

The Bulldogs set a new school record for conference games by knocking down 16 three-pointers during the onslaught. Eleven of the 16 triples came in the first half and Truman scored a season-high 55 points in those 20 minutes to lead 55-30. The previous record was 15 against Illinois Springfield in 2014 and the overall school record is 22 against Mount Mercy in 2012.

Katie Jaseckas scored a season-high 21 points on 10-of-14 shooting.
Katey Klucking notched her first collegiate double-double with 14 points, a career-high 10 rebounds and added five assists.
Sloane Totta had eight dimes to go with 18 points and four made three-pointers.
Hannah Belanger was 6-of-10 from distance with six assists for her 18 points.

Ashley Johnson led the Screaming Eagles (10-5; 6-3 GLVC) with 16 points.

The Bulldogs will wrap-up the three-city, three-game road trip on Saturday with a date with McKendree University at 1 p.m. The Bearcats defeated Quincy 68-63 on Thursday night.
