Following the action, coach Jerod Simek said, "The Bulldogs raced a little tired today but we're able to improve upon their times last week at the intrasquad meet and are making great strides in their technique and race strategies early in the season. There are many positives to take away and are ahead of where we have been in previous years at this point in the season. Myself and the rest of the staff are very excited about the year to come as we head into our dual meet schedule and midseason."
