ROMEOVILLE, Ill. - Johanna Wallstab's first goal of the season came off a free kick and gave the Truman Women's Soccer team a big 1-0 road win over Lewis University on Friday night.
Late in the first half, the free kick occurred on the left side of the field, just outside the 18-yard box. The ball fluttered through the box and found the net for the lead.
The three points for the win moved Truman to 14 on the season and into sole possession of fourth place in the GLVC standings while Lewis remained at 11 points.
Truman will face third place Indianapolis on Sunday. The Greyhounds have won five straight and have 15 points on the conference season.
