ST. CHARLES, Mo.--The Truman Baseball team dropped both games in a doubleheader on Saturday at the #6 Lindenwood Lions 3-0 and 12-1. 

Lindenwood 3, Truman 0

In the first game, Zachry Schneider got the start for the Bulldogs and threw six innings allowing just two runs, one earned. He struck out six batters on 99 pitches, and despite a decent start still took the loss. The Lions broke through in the first inning with a two out RBI single through the right side to bring in their first run, then scored again in the second on an RBI double. Lindenwood added one more in the eighth to make it a three run game.

Will Fromm picked up the first hit for the Bulldogs in the second, but was unable to reach scoring position. He got his second hit of the game in the seventh inning. Brennan Perkins picked up another single in the seventh, his second hit in his second career game.

Lindenwood 12, Truman 1

In game two, the Lions jumped all over the Bulldogs with a four run first and despite a run in the top of the second to answer the Bulldogs just couldn't slow the Lion's bats. Reid Wilson had a three hit game and Will Fromm had two hits in this game for four on the day. Wilson singled in the second for the lone RBI of the day for Truman, bringing Landon Hamm in to score.

The Bulldogs will face the Lions tomorrow in the series finale starting at 1:00 p.m.
