ROLLA, Mo. - Grace Feeney got the silver medal position in the women's Heptathlon on Friday to highlight the second day of activity at the Great Lakes Valley Conference Outdoor Track & Field Championships on Friday.

Feeney scored 4,413 points just over 100 points shy of an NCAA provisional score in the multi-events to finish behind Maryville's Casey Berberich. Feeney went 5.09m in the Long Jump to score 584 points, 34.53 in the Javelin for another 563 and ran 2:32.69 for 660 points in the 800-meter run.

Lea Moose placed seventh in the Heptathlon with 3,667 points to score two more Truman team points on the day. 

In other "finals" on Friday, Ashleigh Sharkey and Kelly Hoskins failed to clear their opening heights in the Pole Vault. Tory Tyler had a best mark in the Shot Put of 11.40 (37-5.00) to place 15th, Brendan Baker tossed 13.58 and Jacob Morris 13.41 to sit in 14th and 15th position in the men's Shot and Carson Rohan ran 10:03.71 to finish 15th in the men's 3,000-meter Steeplechase.

In prelim action, Carson Lackey will run in the finals of the 100-meter dash after clocking the seventh fastest time of 10.86 in the second heat of the event. Lackey just missed the finals of the 200 as he ran 22.32 and was ninth.

Field events will start on Saturday morning with finals in the High Jump, Triple Jump, Discus and Javelin. Track finals begin at noon and will include both the 4x100 and 4x400 meter relays, the 5000-meter run, 1500-meter run and all of the finals of today's prelim events.
