SOUTH BEND - Hannah Belanger connected on five of six three point attempts and scored 16 points in Truman State's 92-47 loss to the University of Notre Dame in an exhibition game on Monday night.
All five of Belanger's hoops were from distance and she added a free throw to lead the Bulldogs with 16 points. Clair Rake added 11 on three more triples and Truman finished the game going 9-of-28 from outside.
The Irish had five players in double-figures led by Sonia Citron with 17.Â
Notre Dame led 32-14 after one, 48-24 at halftime.
Truman will open up their regular season in Hillsdale, Michigan on November 12-13 playing the host Chargers first then Ursuline (Ohio) on the next day.
