HILLSDALE, Mich. - Truman State Women's basketball defeated Ursuline College 67-53 in their final game of the GLVC/G-MAC Challenge.
Hannah Belanger had her second-straight game of 24+ points, leading the Bulldogs to a stress-free victory over the Arrows of Ursuline.
Truman was down by five going into the half, but had a dominant third-quarter to take a sizable lead. Truman scored 27 points in the third-quarter alone, compared to Ursuline's six.
The Bulldogs were outscored in the fourth-quarter, but it was not enough from the Arrows, as Truman walked out with a 14-point win.
Belanger shot 10-17 from the field, including three 3-pointers.
Gracie Stugart was second in scoring for Truman with nine, going 3-5 shooting and recording a team-high five assists.
Ellie Weltha scored six points and grabbed 11 boards.
