Campus Parking Map

Campus map of Truman State University athletics parking. Highlighted parking areas are Pershing Parking, on the west side of Franklin Street beside the Pershing Building (28); the Stadium Lot, just south of Stokes Stadium and Gardner Track (32) and west of the softball field (33); and Additional Parking near the Health Sciences Building (29), Barnett Hall (31), and along Florence Street by the Campbell Apartments (34). The tennis courts (38), soccer field (39), and athletic field (40) are at the bottom right. Handicapped parking and accessible entrances are marked on the map. Written parking directions for each venue follow below.

Stokes Stadium (Football/Track & Field)

Stadium Lot is for season passes and a limited number of for sale spots on football gamedays. It is also reserved for media and handicap parking. Other Stokes parking is on Barnett Hall lot and soccer/baseball/tennis lot.

Football Gameday Traffic
Stadium Drive is one way (west to east) on football gamedays so fans accessing the lot should enter from Franklin Street.

Pershing Arena (Basketball/Volleyball)

The lot on the west side of Franklin Street is the best/easiest option for parking for Pershing Arena. A crosswalk will lead you up the service entrance drive and to the arena entrance. Limited spaces may be found on the east side of the building. Parking is free for all basketball and volleyball.

Baseball/Softball/Track & Field

On non-football game days, parking in the stadium lot is allowed free of charge for baseball/softball games. Additional baseball parking, can also be found on the east side of Florence Street (third base side).

Please not that foul balls do enter these areas and folks are asked to park at their own risk.

Soccer/Tennis

Free parking is the soccer and tennis lot located off of Florence Street. Majority of spots are available closer to the tennis courts and on the west side of the soccer field away from Campbell Apartments. The lot directly north of the soccer field is shared by the apartments and can become congested during games. All fans for soccer need to enter at the north end of the facility.

Team Bus Parking

  • FootballBuses are asked to park in the service drive behind Pershing Building (28). They can access that lot off of Franklin Street.
  • Basketball/VolleyballBuses are asked to drop of on the east side of the Pershing Building and can park in front of the Health Science Building (29).
  • SoftballBuses should drop off on the third base dugout and park in the soccer/tennis lot on Florence Street. The Stadium lot is difficult for buses to navigate when cars are present.
  • Baseball/Soccer/Track & FieldBuses should park on the south end closer to the tennis court in lot off of Florence Street. Buses SHOULD NOT attempt to drop off soccer at the north end of the facility.

Truman Tailgating Policy

Alcohol Tailgating Rules
Tailgating with alcohol is only allowed on home football gamedays starting three hours prior to and ending 15 minutes prior to kickoff. It is ONLY allowed in the Stadium Lot with the exception of Homecoming. For that game only, wet tailgating is only allowed in the lot west of Franklin Street that is used for Basketball and Volleyball.
