EMPORIA, Kan. - Truman State Men's basketball lost to Emporia State University 63-42 on Tuesday night.
The Bulldogs struggled in the first half, down 36-23 going into the break. Truman shot 8-29 from the field (.276%) and Emporia made 13 of their 27 shots (.481%). The Hornets made six 3-pointers compared to the Bulldogs' three.
Truman was outscored 27-19 in the second half, with neither team finding their shot during the half. Truman shot 8-27 and Emporia shot 9-27.
Freshman Xavier Hall was the only Bulldog to reach double-digit points with 10. Trey Shearer had eight, Hunter Strait had seven, and Elijah Hazekamp and Joe Knutson had six each.
