Bulldogs Fall To SBU In Season Finale

BOLIVAR, Mo. - Truman volleyball was defeated by Southern Baptist University in four sets in their final game of the 2022 season.

SBU won set one 25-19 before the Bulldogs took set two 25-21. The Bearcats won the final two sets 25-17 and 25-19.

Annabelle Crowder and Jessica Proszenyak were the offensive leaders in the match. Crowder recorded 12 kills and Proszenyak had 10.

Emma Baierl dished out 32 assists and also had a team-high two aces.

Crowder, Baierl, and Proszenyak led Truman in digs.

The future is bright for Truman, with a majority of production being freshman. Crowder, Baierl, and Proszenyak played in their first collegiate seasons. Lexi Arnel, also a freshman, played in 16 matches.
