SPRINGFIELD, Ill. - Truman Women's basketball was able to hold off Illinois Springfield to secure their seventh win of the season.
The Bulldogs went into the half up 14, with Emma Bulman leading Truman in scoring with 10. Six other Bulldogs got on the board. Truman shot 16-26 from the field and went 5-11 on 3-pointers.
Ariyah Douglas of UIS led all scoring in the half with 12 points.
UIS outscored Truman in the second half 49-42, but the Bulldogs were able to hold onto the victory.
Hannah Belanger recorded her seventh 20+-point game against the Prairie Stars, dropping 29 points. Ellie Weltha, Emma Bulman, and Hannah Pinkston all scored 10-points or more.
