Bulldogs Unable To Hold Lead Against Maryville

ST. LOUIS, Mo. - Truman volleyball lost 3-1 to Maryville in the finale of their St. Louis road trip.

Truman won the first set 25-21, then lost the next three 25-19, 25-14, and 25-20.

Jessica Proszenyak led the way in kills for the Bulldogs with 10, followed by Allison Beaton with nine, then Maura Ploesser with eight.

Emma Baierl once again led Truman in assists with 19, next closest was Rachel DeFries with 12.

Proszenyak had a great game serving, accumulating five service aces. Allison Beaton had two and DeFries had one of her own.

The Bulldogs take a short break and will be back in action Friday, September 30, at 6:00 p.m.
