Late Goal Keeps McKendree Undefeated Over Truman Women's Soccer

LEBANON, Ill. - The #12th ranked and undefeated McKendree Bearcats got a goal with just over two minutes left to play to down the Truman Women's Soccer team 1-0 on Friday night. The Bulldogs return to action on Sunday at the University of Indianapolis.

The goal was the seventh of the season by Anna Stiffler and assisted by Morgan Bova with 2:08 showing on the second half clock. It moved the Bearcats to 8-0-2 overall and 4-0-1 in the GLVC while Truman dropped to 3-2-5 overall and 1-2-3 in the league.

Emily Oedewaldt had Truman's lone shot on goal in the 57th minute with Abby Tucker making the save.

The Bearcats went down a player with a red card issued with 12 minutes left to play.
