KIRKSVILLE, Mo. - The Truman Women's soccer team battled to a 0-0 draw against Quincy on Sunday. The Bulldogs remain undefeated and have yet to give up a goal so far this season.
Quincy nearly doubled Truman's 11 shots with 19, but the Bulldog defense and goalkeeping kept the Hawks' out of the net.
Emily Oedewaldt, Jessica Kozol, and Gianna Gorman led Truman State in shots on goal with two each.
Oedewaldt had a great chance in front of the goal with 11:24 left in the first half but Quincy goalie Olivia Kindt made a phenomenal save to keep it out.
Truman begins GLVC play against Southwest Baptist next Thursday, September 11, noon at Stokes Stadium.
