ROLLA, Mo. - Truman State Women's basketball was victorious against the Miners of Missouri S&T, winning 86-63 in Rolla.
The Bulldogs were in complete control, with Hannah Belanger having another incredible performance. Belanger scored 32 points on 11-17 shooting from the field, and 6-10 from three. She was four shy of tying her season-high of 36. It was Belanger's twelfth 20+ point game of the season.
Truman was up 39-36 at the half, but held the Miners to 10 points in the third quarter and never looked back. The Bulldogs outscored S&T 27-17 in the fourth to win the game by 23.
The Bulldogs shot 29-56 (51.8%) from the field, compared to S&T's 25-62 (40.3%). Truman shot 46.4% from three, sinking 13 from beyond the arc.
Ellie Weltha was second in scoring with 16 points. She grabbed five rebounds and added an assist.
Emma Bulman scored eight points with five rebounds.
Alex Fanning pulled down nine rebounds, and Gracie Stugart recorded eight assists.
Truman State plays at #2 Drury on Saturday, January 21st, at 1 p.m.
