ST. LOUIS, Mo. - Truman State Women's soccer was defeated by Maryville 2-0 on Friday. Maryville holds a record of 11-2-3 and are 9-1-2 in GLVC play.
The Saints got on the board early, with a goal from Elsa Nilson-Hurtig in the 8th minute.
Truman was unable to get a shot off in the first-half.
Maryville made it a 2-0 game in the 64th off a another goal from Nilson-Hurtig.
The Bulldogs recorded three shots, and Avery Bohnenstiehl had one attempt on goal that was saved.
Truman had four total shots to Maryville's 17, and one shot on goal to their five.
Tatumn Damron made three saves while allowing two goals.
