KIRKSVILLE, Mo. - Truman State Men's basketball took on Avila University in Pershing Arena and came out on top, winning 92-62.
The Bulldogs jumped out to a 7-0 lead less than two minute into the game, and the last time Truman was not up by double-digits was with 14:14 left in the first-half.
Every Bulldog recorded 10+ minutes in the game, and they all scored points as well.
Kobi Williams led the game in scoring with 23 on 4-7 shooting. Williams also had three rebounds, four assists, a steal, and no turnovers.
Casen Lawrence was second in points with 17 on 6-8 shooting, and Brennan Lovette was the third Truman player with double-digits with 11. Lovette shot 3-3 from the field and made all four of his free throws.
Tobias Reizner made an impact rebounding, recording a game-high eight.
Trey Shearer led the Bulldogs in assists with six.
As a team, Truman shot 27-61 (44.3%), and were 16-38 (42.1%) from three. They went 22-26 (84.6%) from the free throw line.
The Bulldogs are now an even 2-2 on the year, and play two games in Minnesota next against Concordia, St. Paul and Southwest Minnesota State on November 25-26.
