EVANSVILLE, Ind. - Truman State's Adelaide Reaser picked up her second straight bronze medal as she finished third in the women's 500 free swim on night four of the Great Lakes Valley Conference Swimming & Diving championships.
Eight Truman State swimmers advanced in the prelim round to the finals with three (Reaser, Meg Heveroh and Sidney Durbin) all making the A finals. Reaser and Heveroh swam in the 500 free A final with Reaser touching the wall in 4:59.32 and Heveroh in 5:04.70, good for eighth. Emma Harris was in the C final of the 500 free and finished 19th (5:16.52).
Durbin blistered her seed time in the 200 fly with a 2:10 clocking in the prelim round and then went 2:09.28 to finish sixth in the final.Â
Jahmia Harley and Kylie Strobl swam in the B final of the 100 backstroke. Harley finished 11 with a time of 57.90 and Strobl placing 16th in 58.97. Natalie Nguyen was in the C final with a time of 59.92, good for 20th.
Chloe Myers was in the B final of the 100 breast and finished 11th in a time of 1:05.22.Â
The women's 200 free relay of Emily Traube, Harley, Taylor Graham and Heveroh finished sixth (1:37.39).
On the men's side, AJ Kohler advanced to the B final in the 200 fly and finished 11th overall (1:49.99). Jax Mahlstadt and Noah May were in the C final with Mahlstadt placing 17th (1:53.86) and May touching 23rd (1:54.96).
Cameron Lee entered the 100 breast with a seed time of 1:03.39 and shaved several seconds off that in both the prelim and C final. Lee finished 24th with a time of 58.77.
The men's 200 free relay team of Jacob Pocivasck, Kohler, Adam Vaske and Lee finished seventh (1:23.95).
Team standings for the Bulldogs entering the final day have the women in sixth with 206 points and the men in ninth with 120 points.
