PELLA, Iowa – The Truman State Women's Tennis team won 9-0 over Simpson College on Saturday.
 
Allie Brown and Sydney Dial won at number one doubles 8-1. Akansha Negi and Abbi Worster took number two doubles 8-3 and Alayna Dostal and Calli Hepfinger won number three doubles 8-1.
 
In singles, Brown was a 6-1, 6-0 winner at number one, Negi won in straight sets 6-3, 6-0. Dial eased to a 6-0, 6-0 victory at number three. Worster won 6-3, 6-1 at number four. Hepfinger rallied from down a set to win the second set and the tie breaker 6-7 (5-7); 6-3, 10-6 to take number five and Dostal won 6-3 6-3 at number six.
 
The Bulldogs will have a busy week with three duals on the docket starting with a home match with Grand View (Iowa) on Wednesday followed by a road swing back to the Hawkeye State on the weekend playing St. Ambrose and Iowa Central.
