QUINCY, Ill. - Truman State volleyball took a tough loss in five sets to GLVC opponent Quincy on Friday night.
Quincy took the first, fourth, and fifth sets. Quincy took their sets 25-19, 27-25, and 15-12. The Bulldogs took the second set 25-21, and the third 25-21.
Allison Beaton led Truman in kills with 17, with Hanna Berry right behind with 16. Beaton hit .429 in the matches.
Emma Baierl and Tori Creason led the Bulldogs in assists, with Baierl at 30 and Creason at 13.
Baierl had 15 digs, Lexi Arnel had 14, and Jessie Julius had 14 as well.
Quincy moved to 13-1 and 3-0 in conference play.
Truman falls to 7-7 and 0-2 in the GLVC.
The Bulldogs return to action on Saturday, September 30th, at Illinois Springfield at 3 p.m.
