After falling in the first set 25-21, the Bulldogs righted the ship to take the next three sets to start the day with a win over Lake Superior State.

A three-point run closed the gap to 16-11, but the Bulldogs won the last nine points behind Taylar Schafer serving to even the match at 1-1.
