KIRKSVILLE, Mo. - The Truman State Swimming teams welcomed Ouachita Baptist (Ark.) for a pair of dual meets over Homecoming weekend. The women won both days meets by scores of 115-51 and 89-59 while the men lost to their counterparts 125-42 and 109-39.
The story of the weekend was the four NCAA B-Cut times swam by Truman swimmers. Emily Traube set three NCAA marks in each individual event she swam in. She went 23.38 in the 50 free, 1:52.70 in the 200 free and 51.43 in the 100 free. She also swam the anchor spot in three of the four winning relay teams.
Meg Heveroh claimed an NCAA time in the 1000 free by swimming 10:21.53. She was also a part of both the 400 free and 400 medley relay winning teams.
Other individual wins on the women's side were Jahmia Harley in both the 100 and 200 backstrokes and Sidney Durbin in the 100 breast. Harley and Durbin swam the first two spots of the 400 medley relay and were joined by Heveroh and Kylie Strobl.
Maddie Lynch swam in the victorious 200 free and medley relays.
A.J.Kohler picked up the individual wins on the men's side winning both the 100 fly and 100 free on Saturday. He was a second place swimming in the 200 free.Â
Other silver medalists for the men were Miles McIntyre in the 200 fly, Evan Grinder in the 100 back and Jacob Wolf in the 200 back.
The Bulldogs travel to Missouri-St. Louis for a dual next Saturday starting at noon. Â
