WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
AT MISSOURI, 6:30 P.M., Oct. 29, COLUMBIA, MO.
 
Truman State Women's Basketball travels to Columbia for an exhibition against the University of Missouri. The Tigers hold a 1-7 all-time advantage over the Bulldogs with the only Truman State win a 58-48 decision on January 24, 1975, in Columbia.
 
This marks the second and final tune-up prior to the 2024-2025 season as William Woods (Mo.) University fell to the 'Dogs, 87-53, in an exhibition Oct. 20 in Pershing Arena. The non-conference season begins Nov. 8-9 in the GLVC/G-MAC Challenge with games against Cedarville (Ohio) University and Ursuline (Ohio) University.
 
MEN'S SOCCER
AT MARYVILLE (MO.)*, 12 P.M., Nov. 1, Chesterfield, MO.
AT MISSOURI-ST. LOUIS (UMSL)*, 3 P.M., Nov. 3, ST. LOUIS, MO.
 
Bulldog Men's Soccer wraps its regular season campaign this weekend with matches at Maryville and UMSL. Truman State sits two points behind Missouri-St. Louis, Lincoln (Mo.), and Quincy (Ill.) for the final GLVC postseason spot while Maryville, with 26 points, trails UIndy by two for the top spot in the conference.
 
One year ago, Truman State defeated UMSL, 1-0, on Oct. 15, in St. Louis while drawing Maryville, 0-0, Oct. 27 in St. Louis. The Tritons and Bulldogs have played nearly even since the start of their series in 1980, 19-20-7, while Maryville holds a 7-9-3 advantage all-time against the Purple and White.
 
The Bulldogs record stands at 4-6-4 overall, 3-5-4 in GLVC play.
 
WOMEN'S SOCCER

AT UMSL*, 11:30 A.M., Nov. 3, ST. LOUIS, MO.
 
After a pair of 2-0 wins homecoming weekend, Friday against Lincoln and Sunday versus Missouri S&T, the Truman State Women's Soccer team's 15 points ties Upper Iowa and Quincy in the GLVC standings with one weekend of regular season action remaining.
 
The Maryville Saints, tops in the league at 11-0-1, 12-0-2 overall, have played the Bulldogs to a record of 8-8-1 all-time, with Maryville claiming a 2-0 victory in 2023. Truman State holds a 15-8-5 advantage over UMSL all time with the most recent Triton victory in Edwardsville, Ill., on Oct. 6, 1996. The two most recently played to a 1-1 tie in Kirksville Sept. 25, 2022.
 
Truman State's 2024 record stands at 4-5-3 GLVC, 5-6-4 overall.
 
VOLLEYBALL
AT UMSL*, 6 P.M., Nov. 1, ST. LOUIS, MO.
AT MCKENDREE (ILL.)*, 3 P.M., Nov. 2, LEBANON, ILL.
 
Bulldog Volleyball, 5-1 in its previous six contests following a 3-1 loss to Rockhurst (Mo.) University in Pershing Oct. 26, takes to the road for matches at UMSL and McKendree.
 
UMSL is tied for fourth at 4-3 in the conference with UIS and UIndy while posting a 15-5 overall mark. McKendree at 2-5 GLVC is tied with Upper Iowa and the Bulldogs in league standings. The Tritons took a 3-1 victory off Truman State in '23 while McKendree swept away the 'Dogs, 3-0, with both losses occurring in Pershing Arena.
 
Historically, the Bulldogs and Tritons are nearly even all time with a 36-35 edge to the Purple and White, while Truman State leads McKendree 12-9.
 
SWIMMING
AT UMSL*, 12 P.M., Nov. 2, ST. LOUIS, MO.
 
The Truman State Swimming teams split the dual with Missouri-St. Louis one year ago in the Pershing Natatorium. The Bulldog women defeated the Tritons, 121-102, while the men were downed 151.5 to 74.5. The Bulldogs played host to Ouachita Baptist (Ark.) for a pair of dual meets over homecoming weekend with the women winning both days meets by scores of 115-51 and 89-59 while the men lost by scores of 125-42 and 109-39.
 
The Bulldogs finish fall competition at the Phoenix Fall Classic at the University of Chicago Friday, Nov. 22.
 
FOOTBALL
VS. LINCOLN (MO.)*, 12 P.M., Nov. 2, KIRKSVILLE, MO.
 
Truman State Football plays host to Lincoln (Mo.) University Saturday with a 3-2 GLVC mark, 4-4 overall, while the Blue Tigers enter the game with a league record of 0-6, 1-7 overall. 
 
The Bulldogs hold a 24-4-1 all-time advantage against Lincoln with the last Blue Tiger victory coming Nov. 10, 1973, by a 21-0 score in Kirksville. The two most recently played to a 20-13 Truman State win at Stokes Stadium Oct. 13, 2018.
 
Truman State's four-game winning streak came to an end this past Saturday by way of a 28-21 homecoming loss to McKendree (Ill.) to leave the Purple and White in a three-way tie for third with Missouri S&T and McKendree. The Miners dominated Lincoln over the past weekend 63-21 in Rolla, Mo.
