Reese Stovall paced the Truman State Women's Golf team at the Kansas City Cup, hosted by William Jewell (Mo.) College. Stovall shot rounds of 81, 82, 82 to finish 26th overall. The team placed 10th.

Truman State Tennis dropped a 6-1 decision at the hands of Missouri Western on Oct. 6. The Bulldogs are back on the courts Tuesday at home against the University of St. Mary (Kan.) with a 3 p.m. start time.

Two goals from Lia Quintero pulled the Bulldogs to even in conference action, 2-2-2, with a 3-0 win over Quincy (Ill.) University Oct. 6. Quintero became the second Bulldog to win GLVC Player of the Week honors after Tatumn Damron claimed the award one week ago.

A quick two goals proved to be all the Quincy (Ill.) Hawks needed to drop Truman State 2-0 in men's soccer Sunday, Oct. 6. The 'Dogs conference record stands at 1-3-2 on the season.

A familiar tale unfolded on Oct. 5 in Pershing Arena as the Truman State Volleyball program forced a fifth set on rival and conference-leader Quincy (Ill.) University before dropping a heartbreaker 15-12 in the deciding set to fall 3-2.

Aiden Moriarty led a small squad of Truman women's cross country runners in the Missouri Western Griffon Invite on Saturday. Moriarty finished 28th overall with a time of 19:37.09 as the Bulldogs placed seventh as a team with 208 points.

Truman State football took the lead early in the fourth quarter and held off Upper Iowa late to win its first conference game of the season, 26-23, as junior Denim Cook rushed for a career-high 157 yards with one score. The Bulldogs, winners of back-to-back games after starting the year 0-3, play host to Missouri S&T this weekend.

The Truman State Swimming teams lost a road dual with William Jewell on Oct. 4. The women were narrowly defeated by a 106-99 tally and the men lost 140-65.
