ST. LOUIS – The Truman State Volleyball team was defeated in three sets by Maryville (Mo.) University on Saturday in the season finale. The Saints took the three sets by scores of 25-18, 25-19 and 25-20.
 
Michaela Goad and Jessie Julius led the Bulldogs in attack attempts with Goad having 32 opportunities and Julies with 29. Goad put away nine kills for a .219 hitting percentage and Julius had eight kills for a .172 percentage.
 
Emma Baierl had 18 assists and Addy Janssen finished with 18 digs. Truman State had five service aces and four blocks.
 
Goad finished her first season on the team with 295 kills, Baierl closed with 559 assists and Makayla Way led with 101 total blocks.
