KIRKSVILLE, Mo. – The Lewis University Flyers swept the Truman State Volleyball team 3-0 in the regular season home finale on Saturday evening in Pershing Arena. The Bulldogs will close the 2024 campaign with two matches on the road next weekend.
The Flyers controlled most of the night winning sets one and two by scores of 25-15 and 25-12. The Bulldogs pushed late in set three but couldn't muster the comeback and fell 25-19.
Jessica Proszenyak led the Bulldogs with eight kills in 28 total attacks.
The two senior players, who were honored prior to the match, led the team in their respective categories.
Emma Baierl posted 24 assists and
Taylar Schafer led with 13 digs out of the libero position.
