Bulldog Men's Basketball, 5-4 overall, 1-2 Great Lakes Valley Conference (GLVC), completes its non-conference schedule with two final games in 2024. The 'Dogs play host to the 5-7 overall, 3-5 Heart of America Athletic Conference Grand View (Iowa) Vikings in Pershing Arena Tuesday, December 17, then travel to St. Joseph, Mo., to play Missouri Western State University, 8-2 overall, 1-1 Mid-America Intercollegiate Athletics Association, December 21st.
 
Truman State split a pair of GLVC decisions prior to a short break for finals week. Southwest Baptist (Mo.) notched an 84-75 victory December 5th over the Purple and White while a buzzer beater from junior guard Xavier Hall sank the Drury (Mo.) Panthers on December 7th to give the Bulldogs their first conference win of the season.
 
Action on the 2024-25 season resumes after the holiday break against Missouri S&T January 3rd.

The 5-6 overall, 2-1 GLVC Truman State Women's Basketball team heads to Hilo, Hawaii, for the Big Island Holiday Classic to finish play in 2024. Fort Hays St., 9-0 overall, 2-0 MIAA, ranked 6th in both the WBCA Coaches Poll and D2CSC National Media Poll, is first on the docket at 4 p.m. Hawaii time Thursday, with play to conclude Saturday at 5 p.m. Hawaii time against the 1-5 overall, 0-2 PacWest Conference Hawaii Hilo Vulcans.
 
The Bulldogs opened the conference season 2-0 after a 77-63 defeat of Southwest Baptist December 5, but Drury dealt the 'Dogs their first GLVC blemish, 97-72, on December 7th.
 
January 3rd will mark the return to the court for the Bulldogs following the holiday break when Missouri S&T visits Pershing Arena at 5:15 p.m.
