Truman State Men's basketball is coming into this week riding a four-game win streak after defeating GLVC No. 1 Indianapolis 85-76 on the road. The Bulldogs also defeated Lewis, UMSL, and McKendree in this week streak.
Against UINDY, Trey Shearer and Kobi Williams both had 20+ points. Shearer had 22 and Williams had 20 points. Landon Eiland led in rebounds with seven and Xavier Hall had a team-high five assists.
Truman State is now 11-11 overall and 8-6 in conference play. The Bulldogs are now tied for fifth in the GLVC with Lewis.
This week, Truman takes on Maryville and Missouri S&T on Thursday and Saturday. Maryville is an even 10-10 overall and 6-8 in the GLVC. Their leading scorer is Noah Courtney, who scores 13.0 points per game. Luke Williams (11.6) and Dewayne Vass (10.6) both average double-digits points.
