KIRKSVILLE, Mo. - In senior CE Talton's final home game as a Truman State player, the Bulldogs dominated the Quincy Hawks in a 94-55 win on Saturday.
At the 10:12 mark in the first-half, Truman State was up 14 with a 29-14 lead. The Bulldogs held a double-digit lead for nearly the rest of the half, and went into the break up 44-33.
The second-half was all Truman State, with the Bulldogs increasing their lead to 22 with 13:21 left. Truman's largest lead with 43 two separate times, and won by 39 over their rivals.Â
Five Bulldogs scored double-digit points, with Trey Shearer having a team and game-high 18 on 6-10 shooting from three. Shearer had four rebounds, three assists, and two steals.
Brennan Lovette had 16 on 6-8 shooting from the field and 4-5 from three.
Casen Lawrence had 13 with three 3-pointers and went 4-4 from the line.
Xavier Hall and Kobi Williams both had 12, with Hall leading Truman in assists with four.
Matt Haefner and Joe Knutson dropped five points in the game, with Haefner having a team-high seven rebounds.Â
Jermarco Burse Jr., Landon Eiland, Blaise Porter, and Tobias Reizner all scored in the game. Reizner had five rebounds in seven minutes.Â
Senior CE Talton had three rebounds in his final game in Pershing Arena.
Cooper Randall had three rebounds as well.
Every Bulldog that played recorded a stat.
Truman plays Southwest Baptist on 2/29 and Drury on 3/2 on the road to finish up regular season play.
