Truman State golf kicks off a busy week with the Midwest Intercollegiate in Bolivar, Mo. hosted by Drury University. The Bulldogs will play March 18-19.

Truman finished 17th in the Emerald Coast Collegiate in Destin, Florida. Reese Stovall placed T83, Catherine Salem was T87, Ana Gonzalez was 91st, Madalyn Breckenridge placed 92nd, and Laren Prys placed 93rd.

Truman State tennis takes on Central College, Loras College, Cornell College, and Coe College this week.

Their last matchup was against Missouri Baptist, where the Bulldogs fell 7-0. The Spartans took all three doubles matches to start the dual to earn the first team point. Numbers one and two were 6-1 scores and number three was a 6-2 decision.
Allie Brown lost a break point in the first set at number one singles to fall 6-4, 6-1. pushed Jocelynn Carmody to a 7-5 defeat in her opening set and then lost a break in the second to fall 7-5, 6-4.


Abbi Worster and Samantha Seggermanboth pushed their opponents to tie breaking sets but eventually lost. Worster went 7-5, 7-6 (7-3) at number four and Seggerman fell 6-2, 7-6 (13-11) in number five.

Truman State track & field begin the outdoor season with the Miner Invitational in Rolla, Missouri.

Both teams are coming off a successful GLVC Indoor Championships, with both squads finishing sixth in the conference.

Jacob Morris took ninth in the Men's weight throw at the NCAA DII Indoor Championships, good enough to earn All-American honors.

Truman State baseball hosts 12-9 Missouri-St. Louis this week following a road slate at Southwest Baptist last week.

The Bulldogs went 1-3 against the Southwest Baptist Bearcats, with Ty Rauser throwing a complete game in their win.

Four Truman players are hitting over .300 through 22 games. Dylan Thompson (.347), Dakota Joggerst (.333), Colin Mueth (.328), and Oliver Degenhardt (.321) are the leading hitters for the Bulldogs. Joggerst, Mueth, and Degenhardt are also freshman.

Zachry Schneider has the lowest ERA of Truman's qualified pitcher with a mark of 5.10. Jaren Guck (0.0) and Brian Bruxvoort (3.86) have been excellent in the backend of Truman's bullpen.

Truman State softball looks to continue their success following a two-game sweep of Upper Iowa in their conference opener with games against Quincy and Illinois Springfield at home.

The Bulldogs defeated the Peacocks 6-5 and 11-3 to begin the conference slate with a 2-0 record. 

Emily Wood has been phenomenal this season, hitting .415 with a 1.106 OPS in 24 games. She has 5 home runs, 34 hits, and 26 runs which lead the team. Her average is good for third in the conference and 134th nationally.

Charlotte Chelich is hitting .390, and Cameryn Patterson and Cassie Smith are both over .300.

Kaylyn Jones is 4-2 with a 4.59 ERA in the circle.

Madie Anderson has 60.1 innings pitched and posts a 4-5 record with a 6.50 ERA.
