Following their first outdoor meet of the season last week, Truman State track will go to Pella, Iowa and St. Louis, Mo. for the Dutch Invitational and Wash U Distance Carnival.
In the Miner Invitational last week, the Bulldogs found success. On the men's side, Jacob Morris took first in discus with a distance of 55.93m and fourth in the hammer throw, Hayden Long placed fifth in the javelin at 56.25m, Cooper Doolin took fourth in the 100 meter dash with a 10.94 time, and Bryce Compton was fourth in the 800 meter.
Raina Baker placed third and Kendall Dascher was fourth in the women's 800 meter, the the 4x400 team of Audrey Gilmore, Dascher, Lyla Rider, and Baker finished third in the event.
