Kirksville, Mo. - Davenport (Mich.) University spoiled the home opener for Truman State Women's Soccer with a 2-0 win at Stokes Stadium Friday.

The Panthers kept the Bulldog offense at bay limiting the Truman State attack to two shots total. Haley Diekevers and Ella Chatfield both found the back of the net for Davenport off assists by Gabby Scholten and Alexis Martinez, respectively, while Bulldog keeper Tatumn Damon came up with three saves total.

The Bulldogs return to action at noon Sunday when they play host to Saginaw Valley State (Wis.) University at Stokes.
