Bulldog Softball Splits Second Day In Arkansas

BENTONVILLE, Ark. - Truman State Softball split its two softball games Saturday at the Alvy Early Memorial Classic in Bentonville, Ark. The Bulldogs lost the opener to Southeastern Oklahoma State 7-4 before bouncing back with a 9-0 win over Arkansas-Monticello.  The team will wrap up the tournament with two more on Sunday.

In the first game, Truman fell 7-4 to Southeastern Oklahoma State. The Bulldogs held an early 2-1 lead but struggled to contain the Savage Storm's offense, which scored three runs in the second and added two solo homers.
