INDIANAPOLIS – A pair of Truman State Track & Field seniors will end their careers at the NCAA Division II Championships next week, as Justin Moeller and Addie Mathis earned spots in their respective events.

Moeller is seeded 10th in the Men's Decathlon and scored 7,000 points at the Great Lakes Valley Conference Championship earlier this month. Moeller was an All-American and placed eighth in the Heptathlon at the NCAA Indoor Championships in March. He competed in the NAIA Outdoor Championships in 2023 as a member of the William Penn (Iowa) squad and finished fourth.

Mathis grabbed the last spot in the field of the Women's 1500-Meter Run. Her school-record time of 4:25.93, achieved last weekend (May 2025) at a last-chance meet in Arkansas, secured her spot in the race. This will be her first appearance at an NCAA Championship meet.

The NCAA Division II Track & Field Championships will be conducted May 22–24 on the campus of the University of Colorado-Pueblo.

The Decathlon will start at 11:30 a.m. MT on Thursday (May 22) and conclude on Friday at 3:55 p.m. MT with the decathlon's 1500-meter run.

The prelims of the Women's 1500-Meter Run will take place on Thursday at 6:10 p.m. MT, with the finals running on Saturday at 6:35 p.m. MT.
