Hair Named GLVC Offensive Player of the Week

Indianapolis, Ind. — Truman State junior quarterback Dylan Hair has been named the Great Lakes Valley Conference Offensive Player of the Week, the league office announced Monday. It marks Hair's second career Offensive Player of the Week honor, with his first coming on Nov. 18, 2024.

Hair led the Bulldogs to a 49–20 road win at Missouri S&T on Sept. 20, putting together one of the most efficient outings of his career. He completed 14-of-19 passes (74 %) for 215 yards and four touchdowns, including a 43-yard strike that put Truman on the scoreboard in the first quarter.

The Wardsville, Mo., native was just as dangerous with his legs, rushing six times for 77 yards, highlighted by a 54-yard scamper that set up another Bulldog score. His dual-threat performance helped Truman pile up points and secure its first GLVC win of the season, while getting the Bulldogs back to .500.

With the honor, Hair becomes the most recent Bulldog to earn the league's weekly offensive award since his own recognition last fall. Truman State will look to carry the offensive firepower into its next matchup against UIndy at home this Saturday!
